Welcome to Garden Park High School!

GPHS Students Back To School
..
The students of Garden Park High School enjoyed their first day back to school by participating in a video scavenger hunt. The students were required to find a list of objects and photograph them. The students braved the blistering sun for approximately 4 hours finding objects such as swimming pools, cactus, and even Elvis. Afterwards the students made a PowerPoint presentation of their adventures and presented them to the entire school. It was a wonderful first day back and the students had plenty of time to discuss their summer vacations prior to their return to the class room.

Safe School InitiativeGarden Park High School operates on the premise that all people deserve to be treated with respect. Therefore, our expectation for everyone is that they will live within our school culture of ‘dignity and respect’ at all times. As an alternative school of choice. Students entering GPHS are asking to attend in order to complete their high school education. The State of Colorado has implemented laws to guarantee students a safe learning environment. To uphold these laws, and to provide for a productive place to learn, students understand that they must agree to certain non-negotiable expectations and zero tolerance for:
Violence on or off campus
Weapons on campus
Distributing , using, or selling drugs/alcohol on or near campus
Using tobacco products on campus
Continued disrespectful or non-productive behavior
